Dirty room, metal frame bed like in army. Shower cabin was filthy. Location wise it's what you would wish, everything is withing walking distance, for site seeing.
It's a 2 star hotel at best.
Dead centre lovely old hotel 18th century service very good -furniture old but I expected it will definitely go back there again 🙂
Rooms are very clean very close to the open market and many restaurants to choose from bfast is coffee or tea toast fruit biscuits ham cheese and a selection of Nutella and jams and big crossant.
Positioned central for all sightseeing, down size was the room wasn't great let's just say clean , also we had bed bugs not great at all.
Stay here for 6 nights. A charming old hotel. Very little English speaking staff, but for me that added to it's charm. I had a huge room, balcony and marble bath. Staff did make my stay into a holiday and smiling and happy whenever I saw them. A simple continental style breakfast with good espresso. Would definitely stay here again. A 3* hotel with 4* service. A big thank you for everyone there.
Not what we expected. Pros: very clean, no mold, placed very good.Cons: unfriendly staff ( they treated uș like we were thieves, didn’t respond to our “good morning”, forced us to leave the room at 10 am -check out) and very bad breakfast ( stuff bought from Penny). Coffee absolute horror. Wifi not working. TV also not working
We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time! Trully, one of the best located hotels in Catania, within walking reach of every sight in the city and the centre,a bus stop right next to the hotel and amazing service.The hotel is clean,neat and you feel like you're at home.Would definately revisit!
Stayed there for 3 days in early May 2013. The hotel is a converted house of some departed grandee.
